"We drove out because of all the five star reviews. This was not five star food. Only chicken dish was the teri chicken so we shared that with a side of onion rings. They had pizza also but not until after 4pm. We were there at 3. The saimin looked great but it was all pork and we don't eat pork. The chicken was very fatty and had a very funny taste to it. It was covered in teri sauce which still didn't mask the weird taste of the chicken. The onion rings were hard and stale like. Only dipping sauce was ketchup or mustard. Don't bother with this place if you are looking for plate lunch. Go to the huli chicken stand instead. That place was AMAZING!!"

"Best Saimin on Kauai! Seriously. Great atmosphere with a really friendly and accommodating staff. Better than the other higher graded Saimin places for which I was really excited. My only regret is that I left once. Amazing cake too. Get the Char suu saimin and banana cream cake. They are not dissected."

"Accidentally stopped at this place and was not disappointed. they have a tempeh blt (explain them to keep the mayo) and their smoothies are delicious! I was not impressed by the Açaí Shot, but maybe it was the special bowl I ordered. there are also some togo options in their refrigerator if they want to take something."

"My man and I managed to stop here on our slumber weeks. we were hoping for a taroburger than one of the other places we had tried to get one no longer sold. Moloa fruit stood, it turned out, didn't have it either! we checked with the woman who takes up our order whether the veggieburger was vegan or not. they made a snorkeling note, along the lines obvious, and we have quenched them and ordered two. we also ordered hummus, smoothies and chocolate chip cookies that were labeled vegan. we packed them in our cooler and brought them on a kajaktour. when we came to our destination and were ready for lunch, we felt and realized that they were in the ground rice, a few other grains and gobs of cheese! I ate the hummus, which was at best mediocre, and we share the cookies. but I have no fear that this has also been marked incorrectly. the clothes were good, but I wouldn't go back there because the woman's attitude and tricking us into ordering eating that wasn't vegan. we had hunger for the rest of the day when we returned our kajak, everything was closed. I would recommend going against here if they are vegan because the workers cannot trust."
