Silver Leaf - Belfast

What photoiq likes about Silver Leaf:
Disregard the old negative reviews or those unrelated to the food. My partner and I enjoy fish and chips every week and have sampled all the chippies in the East. The Silver Leaf is the clear winner. The fish is freshly battered as you wait and never greasy. The Bethany (located on lower Newtownards Rd, not Belmont) is also a good choice, but the Silver Leaf is consistently excellent. The service at this restaurant is extremely poor. When my daughter went to pick up our telephone order, she was charged £24.40 instead of the advertised price of £16.10 on their website. Upon returning home, we discovered that part of our order was missing.
