Ignore the negative reviews which are either from 5 years ago or not food related. We have fish and chips once a week and have tried every chippy in the East. The Silver Leaf wins hands down. Freshly battered while you wait and not greasy. The Bethany (lower Newtownards Rd branch not Belmont) is still a decent option but SL is consistently good. read more.

I went in to order a small chip, so I orderd my chip then after i placed my order she turned round and said I need a mask to be in the store then I said im asthmatic and I have other health issues and the continued to tell me to leave the store.
