Although the menu is standard pub fare the quality is much better than it's competitor's in the Marda Loop/Altadore communities. Staff is always friendly. If you like live music Friday and Saturdays it is the place to be. But be ready to be well acquainted with those around you as it is a small venue. After a really good dinner experience in spring, I returned with friends for dinner on July 31. The place was fairly empty, yet service was incredibly slow. They were out of the first three beers I tried to order. The food took forever to arrive and was barely warm when it did. The brisket was dry and the fries, undercooked. Perhaps just a bad night, but I'm leery about going back. View all feedback.

The menu of the local is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are dishes that entirely abstain from meat.
