What User likes about The Trop Bar & Grill:
Although the menu is standard pub fare the quality is much better than it's competitor's in the Marda Loop/Altadore communities. Staff is always friendly. If you like live music Friday and Saturdays it is the place to be. But be ready to be well acquainted with those around you as it is a small venue. And a casual dinner on the patio can always be had in our warmer days here in Calgary. View all feedback.

After a really good dinner experience in spring, I returned with friends for dinner on July 31. The place was fairly empty, yet service was incredibly slow. They were out of the first three beers I tried to order. The food took forever to arrive and was barely warm when it did. The brisket was dry and the fries, undercooked.
