if you like to walk. great view, great food, great service. about an hour to walk from cernobbio, or they can reach it with a particularly beautiful in summer outside sitting with views over torno. all the usual mountainous farewells, polnta, wild boar,...local cheese, pizzocheri etc. they can also stay there, although I didn't try. a hostel as a hotel.
