Since I live in this area, I have visited the restaurant many times and I find that the food is consistently good. The price is a bit on the steep side but the good food and service makes up for the elevated prices. I drive across the North Channel of Lake Huron regularly: Hwy 17, the trans-Canada road. Desbarats (pronounced Debra) has 400 people, a great farmer's market, a wonderful vet and Stobies.
