We visited for lunch on a very hot September day, just checking it out as were staying very close by. We had a light meal, sat under a pergola in the lovely garden. The welcome and service was excellent. We had the Summer Consomme , Garden Pickles, and Foccacia. All delicious. Cant wait to visit again when we travel South. This was the highlight of our week. Lovely friendly and helpful waitresses and beautiful gardens. However very disappointing food. Barely luke warm mushroom soup with two very small pieces of bread, no butter and limp salad leaves floating on top of the skin which had formed on the soup. Overcooked fries.
