The cafe was conveniently located near our downtown hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious and also the most affordable we had during our entire vacation. We had just finished dinner down the street and I wanted dessert. Apparently the young lady was about to close as she was covering the remaining pastries for the night. That should have been my clue! Another missed clue was watching her press against the two remaining lemon poppy seed cakes to see which was the freshest.
