We have visited The Tupton Tap today for drinks and a meal, what can I say, amazing home cooked food which was delicious, the portions are very generous and piping hot, the Fish Chips and Steak Pie were to die for as was the Jacket Potato too, the deserts also very generous and served to perfection, very friendly atmosphere and staff, would 100% recommend trying and will definitely be returning very soon. Worst dining experience we’ve ever had!! 1 and half hour wait for food, fish came out and was obviously straight out of a microwave.. inedible. Pie came out with a fiver ! as the portion was so small what was served was tasteless. Asked to speak to the manager who refused to come down stairs and speak instead sent a bar maid with another fiver . Set upon by one of the locals when we complained was final straw. Family...
