A lovely warm place at the end of a long walk on a cold, cold day. The cafe was clean and welcoming. Food all homemade. The cheesescone was tasty I'm a bit of a cheesescone expert so I think I know what I'm talking about although butter too hard (a common problem in cafes, which makes spreading difficult). Paid over £6 for bacon egg and mushroom sarnie and coffee wouldn't have minded the price but there was only 3or 4 slices of mushroom in egg was snotty the bacon was cooked well but when they asked if I wanted Brown or White I assumed it would be in a bun (roll, bap) but to my surprise it was in between to slices of white soggy bread. The coffee was good to be fair. Won't be in a hurry to return. View all feedback.
