"If I could give a zero star then I would. I have no idea where all the and star reviews came from. The fact that some refer to the restaurant' suggests that they are fake since this is a TAKEAWAY restaurant. I ordered...a shish kebab starter which tasted of and had the consistency of reconstituted meat. Next up was a curry there is no point in specifying which one as my gut feel is that they will all look and taste the same. Opening the lid, I was faced with a thick glutinous looking brown soup as if it had been put through a liquidiser. It looked totally unappetising. The taste was, well, just hot. No subtlety of flavours that you get with a proper curry. Mouth feel was as if I was eating baby food. Supposed to have had chicken in it. I fused around in hope and came up with some square lumps of reprocessed tasteless rubbery chicken. The pilau rice was tasteless and dry. The papadum was OK. Never again for me,. Truly dire."

"This was just what the doctor ordered after a weekend yomping across Northumbrian hills and countryside. I had to ask the nice cashier what vegan options were available on a rainy Sunday evening and he kindly gave me plenty to choose from, but I went for the classic Vish and Chips. Overall I was pretty pleased with my choice and sat eating whilst watching the RNLI lifeboat come ashore. Doesn’t get much more seaside than that…"

"Reasonable prices! Very Generous sized kebab meat and chips. Doner kebab was enormous (it came in a kit form) pitta, meat, salad and sauce individually wrapped. The Pizzas we had are very nice too. I happily recommend them"

"The waitress who took our order was great. The one who came to take our plates away didn't say anything, smile or make eye contact. I mentioned it to my husband and I think the original waitress overheard as she disappeared and shortly after, the second one came back with a smile and offered the dessert menu. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We couldn't believe it when the staff started to do a deep clean of the furniture, dragging chairs out etc. Surely this should be done when there are no customers? The food was excellent though."

"We've been to the restaurant for the first time tonight (having normally gone to Saathis) Two of our party had like for like dishes, I had the traditional lamb, one word magnificent. What really nice people, excellent food, can't wait to try a take away from here. All in all money well spent highly recommended restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
