This is a lovely pub in the countryside. My husband and I both had the Spanish pizza which was amazing. What let it down was when I checked the bill before paying there was a £1 voluntary donation . When I queried this with the bar staff I was told they partnered with a local charity and this was a donation to it. They didn 't know the name of the charity but thought it was to do with homelessness. read more.

Called them in the early afternoon to book a table and left a message on the voicemail, including my number, for them to confirm. Didn't get a call back, so I called again at around 6:30pm to confirm. Whoever picked up the phone was a bit rude, he told me he didn't have a table for us and hung up. read more.
