"The restaurant is housed in a beautiful building and is a really nice place to dinen . the personal was very friendly and attentive, but the two vegan options that we ordered only 2 on the menu were terrible. my partner hates to complain and is a human vacuum cleaner normally, but even he could not finish this meal. he said his risotto tasted as if someone had used a whole bottle of jiffy lemon. my was like ratatouille, but the really bad ratatouille they get in doses. it was not cheap and certainly not a great experience. whitby is in the usually not good for vegan thanks to quality we had an airbnb apartment so that I could cook. not ideal as I was on vacation and did not want to cook, but the options were quite dirty."

"Good food from an interesting menu and good service but the Brasserie is rather soulless and prices are pretty steep. It may be the Covid-19 restrictions but it just didn't have any ambience."

"A friend recommended this place largely in the strength of his desserts (and you can have 3 mini desserts) but as I can't eat wheat, as always, I was a bit skeptical. It is often difficult to find a dessert without wheat, forget about 3. As it turned out, this is possibly the best restaurant I've been for gluten free options. There were several options and for my incoming, really delicious dish, reverence that adapted adding free gluten crumb and made me my dish especially without wheat in the sauce. And as for the threesome of desserts, there were more than three without wheat, not that it had to have a lot!"
