I got the bonzai burrito with white rice and tofu, and found that adding pico and much extra teriyaki sauce there was a better taste than chipotle safritos that I also like, but sometimes is easy to spicy. I thought I’d see what vegan options this taco chain had to offer, knowing that Rubio’s (a competitor) does offer the Impossible protein on their menu. Well, Wahoo’s offers a tofu protein option which is just okay. I ordered the “Banzai Burrito” with the tofu and made it wet with no cheese anywhere. I found the tofu to be unseasoned and quite bland.
