I stayed two nights at Tongadale hotel during my Isle of Skye tour with Timberbush Tours Ltd. The hotel stay was great. My room on the third floor had a fantastic view of the Cuillin Mountains and the waters. The staff were so friendly and helpful.The room was super clean and comfy-felt like home. Let's begin with the positives. We were able to get a table without a reservation, which is quite rare in Portree. The service was incredibly fast and very friendly. However, the food was quite simple and lacked flavor. I ordered the Cullen Skink, which was a bit too thin for my liking, but still enjoyable. The vegetables could have used some salt and pepper. While the food was fresh, it ultimately felt quite bland. View all feedback.
