I stayed two nights at Tongadale hotel during my Isle of Skye tour with Timberbush Tours Ltd. The hotel stay was great. My room on the third floor had a fantastic view of the Cuillin Mountains and the waters. The staff were so friendly and helpful.The room was super clean and comfy-felt like home. Let's start with the positive. We could get a table without reservation (which is almost impossible in Portree). Service was super fast and very friendly. The food was really easy, little to no season. I had the Cullen Skink, it seemed a little thin, but it was good. Vegetables need salt and pepper. The food was fresh, but bland. read more.
