For dinner we made the short trip to Venice tonight to visit Shogun for some Teppanyaki steak and shrimp. It was a nice evening. We were not overly impressed by soup or salad, but as soon as our cook arrived and its routine began, the food he prepared was very good. Ordered the filet mignon and scallops and was very disappointed in quality of meat. Very tough. Asked another at the table to sample and he agreed it was very tough for a filet. It seemed more like a sirloin. After mentioning it to management, they rudely insisted it was a filet. I dropped issue and the bill was paid. If you are looking for any wine selection, it's not here.
