We went to Shogun in Venice for dinner tonight to try out their Teppanyaki steak and shrimp. Despite not being too impressed with the soup and salad, we thoroughly enjoyed the food cooked by our skilled chef. The flaming volcano onion rings added a fun touch to our meal. Ordered the filet mignon and scallops and was very disappointed in quality of meat. Very tough. Asked another at the table to sample and he agreed it was very tough for a filet. It seemed more like a sirloin. After mentioning it to management, they rudely insisted it was a filet. I dropped issue and the bill was paid. If you are looking for any wine selection, it's not here.
