The Swan is a charming 17th-century former coaching inn located in a small rural village nestled in the north downs, just off the A34 between Didcot and Chieveley. Our establishment features 5 comfortable letting rooms, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms. We take pride in serving delicious seasonal home-cooked meals and offering a selection of drinks sourced from local brewers, including popular choices like Greene King IPA and Wadworth’s 6X. Guests can relax in our spacious garden and terrace garden, ideal for enjoying the sunny weather. Families will appreciate the ample space for children to play. We stayed here overnight en route from West Yorkshire to visit friends in Dorset and Wiltshire. Our evening meal was quite good and staff and locals in the bar very pleasant but the unstaffed (included) breakfast was uninspiring and lacked nutritional variety.
