"First time visiting and what a great first impression! I'm a huge fan of Mexican pastry and baking, and El Bolillo is quite a fun experience! When you first walk in the door, you can smell the fresh breads and pastries, and I was just blown away by the variety and selection!You grab a tray and a set of tongs and walk along walls of full display cases of the most beautiful baked goods! We grabbed several to try out.There's also a fresh tortilla station that was really fun to watch. And a cart on one side filled with more savory breads.Of course, we came specifically to try the tres leches cake, as it was highly recommended, and it was totally worth the trip! Wonderful texture, smooth whipped cream, and a big glazed strawberry. But the soaked milk cake was so nice and perfectly sweet. Also, being a cold refrigerated cake, it was a perfect dessert after our lunch.They also had a nice display of fancy full size cakes. Really looks to be a great place to custom order cakes for special occasions.I'll be returning again soon to try more of the varieties of sweets!"

"Yummy desserts. About as good as you can get around here. Customer service is iffy though. Some staff is very friendly and others not so much. Priority given to in-store customers so plan to wait 15+ mins on the phone if you try to call in your order."
