"I was excited last year in Spring when attending the ribbon cutting of this Taqueria. Meeting the very personable and sweet, Karina and her friendly brother and Chef was great. I asked Karina to give me a sample of her red and green sauces, asked her if the Chips were not oil fried. Sat down with a cold Corona and looking around the colorful, decorated culturally rich artsy stuff and even encouraging to mingle, talk with family and friends instead of staring at another TV while dining, I find this personable place to finally replace my downtown El Nopal (which closed after the pandemic) for my weekly Mexican Food appetite. First time, I tried their 2 Tacos with extra cilantro, onion and jalapeños. Karina gave me her special hot sauce, realizing I can eat spicy. On my return visit 2 weeks later, I ate a tasty, crunchy Casedilla with hot sauce. After a month or so, I had a chance to taste their Tamales and it was very good. Overall, affordable price, great ambience, quiet but good service. Can't understand why most people chose the drive through when you can sit for a few minutes and enjoy their food relaxed. Since last May, I make my monthly stop with a couple of friends for a beer, tasting their Negra Modelo or Tacate or a cold Corona with Lime! I sincerely recommend Taqueria el Estrella to everyone who love authentic Mexican Food."

"Stopped in to this local joint because I don?t support Starbucks or any chain coffee shops. Was intrigued with the theme. Was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere when I walked in. Kenzie and Thomas greeted us and welcomed us into this unique coffee spot. Had the Space Force cold brew and a mix of cafe de olla and the dark roast. Absolutely loved the cold brew and hot drip was delicious and smooth. No sugar needed. This place has a stage and bar, with shows on various evenings (music/comedy). Bar is open all day, and serves breakfast and lunch as well. Awesome service and ?Kick Butt? atmosphere and vibe. Come out and support your local businesses. I highly recommend this joint."

"I don?t usually write reviews, but the food was awesome. I had the birria tacos and the consomé and meat were incredibly flavorful. And to top it off, the owner David came and introduced himself to us with a shot of tequila and some tiramisu on thehouse! Great energy and incredibly welcoming! Definitely going to be back soon!"

"Recently started going back, the food is great, that never was the issue. The customer service was and they seem to have fixed that. I like the owners seemed to be involved and changed the place for the better. They mentioned my review and it's funnybecause it's true. However im thankful that they listened to the feedback and that shows a lot about a business. I can'tcomplain, a fan of the place and now that the issues seem to be corrected. I will be returning. I like that feedback has beenaddressed many places read reviews and don't do anything about it. They mentioned other things that they did and it shows thatthey value their customers. That goes a long way and their prices and food are great. I can't complain 100% would recommend thisplace. Machete Chicarron is the best and they have a lot of unique recipes. Older Review: Food is good. The customer Service isterrible. They have this big girl as a cashier. She seems like she hates everyone and herself. I got tacos and the box wasupside down. Guess I had to make my own tacos. They didn't get my order right, I kept trying to emphasis what I wanted. Howeverthe girl kept saying OK and OK. Didn't say OK we offer this or that. I was definitely disappointed, the place used to be amazingHowever quality dropped drastically. With so many options for Mexican food, the food doesn't stand out enough for the terriblecustomer service. Their service is one of the worst and its that big girl that hates the world needs to seek therapy orsomething. I would recommend food, however until they get better I won't be back and I've been there since the start."

"We eat here every week while our kid brother has karate and it is always outstanding. Although the girl in the drivethrough is not very friendly and acts like she doesn't enjoy her job all of the rest of the staff is very friendly and we enjoy them. Highly recommend. (But we are not big fans of the hotsauce the food is AMAZING!!!"
