"This was one of the original Pho restaurant from years back. I used to drive across town for this place and haven't been in a while. Last night, my family of 6 sat down for dinner. We ordered a variety of pho and lemon grass port and chicken. The lemon grass port was generous in size but not very tasty. I had the pork with vermicelli noodles and it was good with fresh vegetables but the sliced meat was a bit dry. The fried spring rolls have gotten quiet small but still tasty, its not the usual large one with flaky wrapping but a small one, more like a Filipino lumpia. I know the neighborhood has changed over the years but ...I really don't like it when you ask to pack extra food home and they give you a container. It wasn't busy at all last night so the waiter could have done it to earn his tip. There's plenty of Pho competition now and as one of the originators of the dish in Vancouver, they should really set the bar for high quality food and service. I guess the near empty restaurant is a tell-tale sign."
