"Just wow.. my first ever dining experience at Dae-Ji and I'm blown away. The food was delicious, made quickly and such big portions for affordable prices. The cooks were kind and all staff welcomed me in with a smile. It's a nice, cozy restaurant perfect for first dates or solo dinners.I asked for the omelette rice and the curry pork cutlet.The omelette rice was so tasty, the egg was cooked just right, the rice-chicken-corn combo made perfectly. My only sour remark is that it wasn't the traditional Japanese omelette rice presentation that was advertised. But I understand as it is a really tricky skill to master.The cooks were very accommodating with my pork cutlet. I asked for a half portion as I just wanted to try it and they blew me away with it. The curry was creamy and rich with flavour mixed in was an assortment of vegetables that were very tender but not mushy. The cutlet itself was so crispy and stayed crispy throughout the dining experience, no soggy bottom or wet crust to be seen.I ate so much I thought I was going to burst, and I still had enough for a nother meal to take home.All in all, highly recommend visiting Dae-Ji at least once in your life, you definitely won't regret it."
