"Food is fine I guess, when you get what you ordered.Scrutinize your take out order before you leave, even if yours is the only one on the counter.I got all the way home to realize that my order the only one on the counter, was not what I ordered even after repeating my order twice upon ordering, and repeating it yet again as it was handed over the counter to me.I made the effort to go to pick it up and take it home. I'm not going to go back yet again to get the order replaced. Shame on me for trusting something to be right, and letting someone else waste my money and my time. (And my apologies to the environment for throwing away food. My effort to bike there and back probably didn't offset the carbon waste of throwing away uneaten food.)Restaurants need to understand that if I order take out, I'm doing it to save the time of cooking. Now not only do I have to STILL cook dinner, but I also lost that half hour it took me to bike there and back. Plus I paid for throwaway takeout.Should I take some responsibility here for not having checked my order before leaving? Yes, I'll begin taking responsibility for doing someone else's job, because clearly they aren't going to take that responsibility."
