"This restaurant is part of the Althoff Hotel in Celle. On the hotel's website they have a large list of awards, indicating that this is an excellent and respected restaurant. It also seems that from its appearance We did not notice much of it. While we were kindly greeted, this was quite the best impression of the tavern. As a starter we had a Risotto and Carpaccio. The Carpaccio tasted like lemon, was impressed by the list of honors I was under the impression it was so thoughtful, but it was 't delicious at all. In the meantime we were attacked by wasps and the waiter was nowhere to see, so I eat it quickly and still don't know if it was a special lemon marinated Carpaccio. My friend's risotto was OKish, nothing prestige. Then it took more than 1.5 hours to get our main course. We still don't know where the employees spent their time because there weren't many people when we ate. It seems there were some "special guests" who received special attention. There was no compensation for the long waiting period, just a short apology. My main course the homemade pasta filled with calf was great, my girlfriend had a steak that was well done, but only accompanied by 3 small potato slices and some bean seeds. When we were fed with waiting and dead tired of our journey, we decided to go as soon as possible. It was a big deception, would not recommend. There are better options nearby."
