"This little place on the south side is fairly basic in terms of the restaurant itself. Open room type concept with tables and chairs set up in a grid across the entire room. Everything was functional and simplistic. We arrived towards the end of the lunch rush. Someone seated us prompted once we arrived, dropped off some menus and water for each of us. STAFF: The waiter did his job, but that's it nothing beyond the basics (no idle chit chat, no big smiles, ... . Not rude, but simply went about his job and that's it. FOOD: I ordered the chef's Suggestion 5. The taste was great all around. I loved the soup base for the Wonton soup; not overly salty. The spring rolls were light, crunchy and very fresh (not soggy or hard like some I've had . The main dish was very tasty as well. The noodles were crunchy under some beef, chicken prawns. I was extremely surprised at the volume of food I was given for my order. In today's market of rising costs, this place appears to have just ignored all that inflation. I would have expected the meal to cost about 25 to 40% more than it did. Parking was easy. And it was even within walking distance of an LRT stop if you travel by bus. Overall: Great food, super prices, decent service."
