"I was meeting a friend for lunch and booked a table (unfortunately) assuming there would be something that could accommodate vegan even if it was just a salad. I asked a member of staff (who looked like a manageress) but she didn't even seem to understand what vegan was but then said they don't cater for vegans. I was shocked and said surely something could be made vegan but she insisted there was only a vegetarian menu. I pointed out that on the back of the menu it said that most dietary requirements could be met, but she said again they don't cater for vegan. Then she said she could ask if a specific thing I asked for could be vegan (even though I kept asking can ANYTHING be made vegan) so I asked about the falafel burger and she was even rude the way she responded. She came back and ignored me, I had get her attention to ask her again and she said no. The whole experience was awful. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone ever again. On top of all this they have a contact email address that just bounces back. It's a joke of a place."

"The coleslaw had gone off and has a strange taste. I told the manager. He pretty much told me I was lying. Instead of him to rectify the issue. Eg give me fresh coleslaw or not charge me . He said all he can do is give me small discount on the coleslaw. That threw me off and took away from the whole experience. Other restaurants would try the best to make customers happy. I will not be returning."

"First time at the Lansbury restaurant and I was very impressed. The staff were very friendly and professional which made the experience a delight. The restaurant is very beautifully designed with amazing food. It did take some time to arrive however, but was assured that the food is prepared fresh from scratch. Fortunately, it was worth the wait as it tasted just as good as it looked. Overall, I'd highly recommend giving this place a try."

"As a big pizza fan, and having tried my fair amount of pizza in East London, I can say that Homeslice is definitely one of the bet, if not the best. The flavours available are unique, the service is friendly, efficient and relaxed even when it gets super busy (you might have to wait a while on weekends . Downstairs they also have a cocktail bar and make great Kiwi Margeritas :"

"Good selection of beer and very friendly atmosphere especially on playdays. they can also catch a few more tricks. they always play the games live on the screen, so when the masses get too much inside, pop into the tavern for a pint until they are ready to go back."
