"The Ambiance seemed nice enough, although I was seated at a high top table near the bar. I was able to watch some football. The service was ok.. a little slow as there were not very many people in at 7:00 pm. Maybe it was because alot of the staff seemed to be just wandering about? My waitress immediately recommended the special, but I wanted Creole tonight. The food was not that good. I ordered the Jambalaya, but it came out pretty dry, with cold cheese sprinkled on the top as if it was an afterthought. The worst part was that the sausage and shrimp were just dumped into the pot frozen and warmed up- with the tails still on. I was wondering what that plastic was I was chewing on. I had to spit it out. I asked my waitress to tell the chef to take the tails off the shrimp next time they made it for someone, and that it obviously tasted frozen. She said she was sorry about that, but then added that she did not know why they serve southern food on the menu when they don 't know how to prepare it properly. I still tipped her well, as it was not her fault, but I won 't go back."
