"We received afternoon tea as a gift on the occasion of our golden wedding. the total experience was disappointing. the sandwiches were not freshened, they arrived too fast for it. I think sandwiches the afternoon tees should have removed their crusts. the scones tasted like they were scones yesterday. a good Scottish word to describe it is 'cheugh'. the cakes were a shame all the sponges, not a baked or meringue in itself. my wife didn't even have one. the one I tried tasted like a muffin and I don't teach it as a cake. we were offered a refill of coffee, but we had finished everything until then. I'm sorry that our donator was wasting his money on this."
