"Waited almost 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken. Our sever acted so put out when we wanted to order food as well. The happy hour menu doesn’t specify what flavour of wings you get or if you get a choice. When I asked...him when he came back with our drinks he barked “salt and pepper”. He said I could t have hot wings but he would put the sauce on the side. He didn’t. The food arrives, it’s hot at least. The pickles and wings tasted like they came from a bag out of the freezer. The hummus was average but they put olives on top so that added much needed salt and flavour. We were never checked up on. Our drinks are almost empty. But looking around the other tables are getting his attention. I finally flagged him down to order some chips and dip. He never even asked if we wanted another drink. 10 minutes go by and we are fed up! I got him over to the table and asked for our bill telling him we didn’t want the food. The chips came while we were waiting for our bill but we sent them away. Too late. He came back and told us we could have it for free. No thanks. We proceeded to tell him how unhappy we were with the service and he snatches the bill, crumples it up and storms off! He came back to tell us our bill was taken care of and then yells at us saying he’s worked there for so long and he’s working hard etc etc. Yes, literally yelled. When we asked to see a manager we were told the restaurant didn’t have one but the front desk manager would come over. He was useless, basically a deer in the headlights. All he did was keep apologizing over and over. He wouldn’t tell us our servers name. We didn’t get a chance to read it on his name tag since he would run off so fast and he grabbed the bill away so fast too. We thought that was kind of shady. It’s not like we wanted his address and phone number. The managers name is Aki, I got that. Our server was older, very heavyset with wavy grey hair. This place is not worth it, even with all day happy hour. You’d think in this day and age establishments would do their best to keep our business. Not the case here."
