This warm and welcoming place welcomes you from breakfast to taste through lunch, to the beautiful days a small terrace teen to the walls of the adjoining church is added to the existing one and gives an extra charm to the tasted stews. A risotto with fresh spinach and roasted mushrooms, a curry of seasonal vegetables, a fennel salad with oranges, a stirred zucchini with yogurt sauce, everything is delicious."

"We were krafft to a lunch in the restaurant. despite the rather small selection (which is to be welcomed in principle) everyone found something after their taste. In particular, the meat-kÃ1⁄4lein and the teigwaren and the mini dessert with a coffee, which also finds itself in the magenta after two generously sized courses. only the service was a little slow, but friendly."

"Looking for a break from Swiss German food we tried this Italian restaurant. We received a friendly greeting on arrival and the waiters spoke good English (although everyone in Basel seems to speak good English). We had the salad to start, which was excellent. For...mains we ordered a spaghetti amatriciana and the pasta special of the day (which involved porcini mushrooms). After we had finished the salad, a waiter appeared to tell us that there were no mushrooms left and suggested we switch to the pasta with truffle oil. We did so, although we discovered the next day that we had still been charged the higher price for the special we should have checked the bill more carefully. There was a lengthy wait for the mains I suspect that after they had been cooked the staff simply forgot to bring them out (when we complained to a waiter, who seemed to be chatting to his friends at the bar, the dishes arrived very quickly). The mains were pleasant but not exceptional. The “house wine” (one of the three red cheaper wines that they offer) was also pleasant. A satisfactory meal with friendly staff but marred by the long wait for the main course"

"Ein wunderschönes, kleines, mich an Paris erinnerndes Restaurant/Bistro. Wenn ich dort bin, komme ich mir vor wie in den Ferien. Eine Auszeit vom täglichen Stress...Simone zaubert in der Küche kreative, schmackhafte und aussergewöhnliche Gerichte, die Weinauswahl entspricht mir sehr. Ein Ort, an dem ich gerne bin!"
