"This is a little gem well known by locals calls. There are very few cafe restaurants with a selection of really good varied freshly made salads, lovely quiches hope cue of salads plus choice various meat or vegetable accompaniment. Filled baguette etc, delivery cious cakes. All to eat in or take out. They also do monthly cookery lessons which I am hoping to try when convenient date, all different countries, Italian Persian, Friendly staff. Good for coffee and cake or even take away salad box with fruit or crisps"

"How the heady have fallen, stars on food hygiene and this is translating back on the food and service. Was a regular patron for them and last few occasions were so poor and felt so aggrieved . Became very unhappy from these visits and...did some reserach on the South Glos website and noticed their food rating was average. which concerned even more.. Curries all seem to taste the same, place has had a long needed makeover but this has taken away the atmosphere. Often busy but usually full of drunks from the local pub and this is what i guess they are more interested in nowadays. Service also below par and food very average to mediocre. Your choice if your prefer going to a star or star? Dont believe go and check the food standard agencies website yourself and enjoy. Sorry for sounding bitter but have given them so many chances to improve but thats it will go down the road."

"We visited this restaurant to start our holiday in style or so we thought. we just wanted two glasses. we arrived at the bar, and the bar staff did not even acknowledge our presence and felt like they had our efforts to maintain their attention when they served other people who obviously remember them more. at the end I had to lean over the bar and especially ask the barman (two times) if I could get a service to which he replied that he served other people. it took minutes to get two glasses wein – which would have been acceptable if it was busy and the barmann had at least recognized our inestimacy, but there were only other customers and I felt that we were ignoring at the very beginning. the service was not only slow, but also surly, unwilling and decided snobbish. Not sure what irritated me most, the slow service, the warm wein or the pompous attitude of the barman! don't waste their time or money not"
