"We walked here from our hotel and had steak for hubby and blue cheese Iberian ham risotto. Both meals were wonderful and paired with a slightly chilled red wine on a romantically lighted deck made for a memorable meal. Very reasonable priced as well."

"We have eaten here many times. Salmon is always great and so is the tuna tartare. The smoky groats and the cous cous are divine! They used to have delicious rolls that they served with olive oil. I was sad to see that they no longer offered them."

"The bf and I ate here tonight. we started with an aperol splash and a campari splash, yummy! divided a appetizer of chicken breast filled with spinat in speck with chipotle mayo wound on a bed of salat. yes. but the highlight cannot be exaggerated: pizza! be traditional and mine without cheese. both are equally satisfying. I don't know, but they must have a wood-fired pizza oven. if they have not yet managed to create this authentic Italian thin pizza ofen cruste texture. we both rode about how delicious the crust was, next to the sauce and the topping. the Arugula/rocket I added was so fresh! and they have a chili infused olive oil, which is one to drop over every bite! they have a simple, but what sounds like delicious breakfast, so we will definitely try again that, as well as I am sure for many more pizzas! they also have many other traditional Italian dishes if they are not interested in pizza."

"Fair prices, food is very good, service is attentive and friendly. Greatly appreciate the opportunity for a entree salad with fresh ingredients and gluten free. GREAT view of sunset. All of this in the midst of La Isla which can have some tourist gotchas. We recommend this restaurant for friendly, good, casual dining. Waiter Julian is a real plus."

"It pains me to write this, and I do so in the hope that the proprietor will read this review and consider its content. This became my favorite place to meet for business and pleasure. The food was always excellent and the service attentive. What impressed me the most was the quality of all the ingredients and condiments; for example the ham baguette is made with actual ham with a thin trimming of fat at its edge, where most restaurants serve the cheaper "ham food" which is bits and pieces formed into a ham shape and color. The attention to every detail is evident throughout, and the owner should be commended for impeccable taste. Having said that, there have been changes in the kitchen. Now, I have never seen the cook, but I can tell it is not the same person as before from the changes to the execution of the food. This new cook LOVES mayonnaise. It is now present in everything it seems. The salmon tartare which was exquisite before, had a recipe change and is now a mayo fest. The salad which had a vinaigrette dressing is now tossed in - mayo. Now I think this condiment has its place, in certain situations - so does ketchup - but it has been an unwelcome addition to the kitchen of this otherwise terrific restaurant."

"Feb 11, 2016 was the third time we have been here and every time the food was good.I have had the daily special on Thursday twice and it was started with a bowel of soup followed by rice with your choice of egg or banana on top. I've chosen egg both times because I can't even imagine what rice with banana would taste like (that's just me though). The main course was a broth with whole chicken thighs and pork ribs with green olives and various other ingredients. There is just too much food to eat. My friend chose to start his meal with soup and his bowl was twice the size of mine and when his main course came he couldn't eat it all. Of course they serve the complimentary totopos with sauce. The green was too spicy and the brown was like it just came off the stove top hot but very bland. The special was 60 pesos and the other meals were cheaper so overall this was an extremely cheap meal. Even with 3 Coke the bill averaged less than 60 pesos per person. The restaurant does not serve beer.We will definitely be eating here again when we go to Market 23."
