"We love 1st Avenue! It’s such a unique, cool, local spot that we love supporting. We recently had to pivot our “food plans” for our kiddo’s birthday party… and it was 1st Avenue to the rescue. They were so kind and accommodating of our big order (and kindly took it the night before). Our guests (most non local having it for the first time), kept commenting on how much they loved the pizza. It was a big hit! Again recently, I had out of town guests, and they loved this pizza so much they requested it twice. For awhile after having my son, I had ironically “lost my appetite” for most pizza…. But not 1st avenue’s. The crust, sauce and toppings are wonderful and taste like quality. I love how you can easily customize the toppings for large crowds. I also love all of their extra options like gluten free, low carb, crustless a true rarity. The restaurant itself is also neat with all of the books and just the general vibe it’s such a cool concept. Last, but certainly not least…. Everyone is so nice! Definitely recommend this local gem that Dayton is blessed to have!"

"I love Marion’s pizza! It’s a pizza that you can count on being the same every time. The pizza is unique in flavor and you don’t feel like you have eaten a heavy bread crust. I love that the ingredients are small and loaded on the bite size squares. Thank you for being around so long!"

"It was clean.The Bloody Mary was Good except they didn't give me celery in it only green olives and 1 lemon wedge. The bartender was very nice she made good drink and she was tentative and they were having trivia night which was pretty cool me and my husband had fun with that I recomend this place and I will be back"

"It's too bright. climate control works too well the air is crisp and dry. they were playing ez listening instrumentals of wu tang clan tracks. a feeling of shame washes over you as you sit in a victorian tufted chair, edgy and buzzed from the 7.5% beer they serve you're drinking at the library. get out. run. don't look back. find a place that's dark, damp, and falling apart. where you can acknowledge the misery you feel about the world and the terrible cure you've chosen to numb it."
