"Amazing hidden gem. Great service with delicious food. We had the slow cooked goat and grilled prawns on the stick (espetada de gambas) and everything was super delicious. The grilled prawns come with bacon and it’s for those that appreciate salty food. Goat was juice and melting from the bones."

"The two of us paid 62 euros for a starter, 2 plates of grilled fish (with garnish) and half a bottle of wine. The staff was friendly, but they didn't seem to understand English. They brought us a different type of wine from the one we pointed at in the menu, so we had to ask them to change it. They immediately tried to convince us to choose the kind of fish from the menu which was sold by kilo (45-48 euros/kilo) and it was a bad decision. The taste was average, but the price was not."

"Been over a year since we last popped in here and little has changed. Quite a crowd mainly locals leading to an overspill to the large dinning room upstairs. Service was attentive and friendly with enough English to take us through the simple menu. Pal with olives, Cal do verde soup, Half BBQ chicken, oven roasted veal all with salad and copious chips, desert, carafe of house red, Fanta, coffee and brandy came to €15.5 Superb value and quality."
