"Angelos is an Oceanside tradition. There are at least 3, and I've eaten in all of them. Their specialty is cooked to order, huge portions, big juicy burgers, large crispy fries, Greek sandwiches, etc. Their Greek salad has a huge chunk of Feta cheese, Kalamata olives, cucumbers large enough to share and a full meal. They serve breakfasts and are quite popular. These are not fancy places diner type seating, pick up your order at the counter and ENJOY. A great value and locals love the places."

"Came for the comedy show, had a good time. $15 minimum food/drink order for entry, which is fine. Food was good, everyone had burgers. The hamburger buns were dry and flaky, they fell apart as soon as we picked up the burgers. Fries were nice and crispy. Hard ciders were fantastic, especially the pineapple. Thought the draft beer was a bit overpriced compared to most, but it tasted good. Waitresses were friendly and attentive, but also very forgetful. We had to ask for our drinks a few times as she brought out one thing or another. Cashing out was difficult too, we ended up just getting up to give our card to the bartender. No one came by for 10+ minutes after the show ended to even ask. Not a fan of the fact that they automatically charge 18% gratuity, then tax it on top of your subtotal. Rubbed me the wrong way. I’m ok to be automatically charged gratuity, but to also tax it? No thanks. It was cool to check out while visiting the area, but I don’t think I’d become a regular if I lived here."

"Sheri was a darling on the phone, answering questions with not a sign of impatience, truly an angel of the airwaves. I like nice service, and in this instance I received it in droves. We were in Oceanside for the night, and after a dismal visit to a fancy Peruvian restaurant in Carlsbad (second, and last) for lunch, we took the Pizza night route, delivered to our hotel room. We chose Big Bob’s Best Pizza due to the overwhelming number of positive reviews. Sheri answered and the rest is now history. Food:<br/>The Works Pizza, substituting Green Bell Peppers with Linguica, a variety of sausage, with Sheri’s kind approval. The large was $27+? Good pizza served generously, showing why the high ratings were valid. 4.5 Stars.<br/>2 Calzones at around $10+ each. One with Artichokes and Mushrooms . The next with Artichokes and Olives. Both were a Big Hit, besides their size, which for a small were quite impressive. My two lady companions agreed like one to how good they tasted. 4.5 Stars.<br/>This place showed its true colors, and made us very happy in the process. Final Bill was around $51+ a nice gratuity for the very personable delivery driver. No more pizza, please, a break is in order, but if we wanted more we would love to order from this place. Sheri, a true darling. Cook or cooks, talented enough. 4.5 Stars."

"I love this place. Loved it before it relocated, and still visit. What do I come in for? Well besides a drink or two and maybe some food we go in to play billiards. The staff is great during the day, night time can get crazy but that's typical of any bar/pub. These guys have not disappointed me so far and I will continue going when I get a babysitter."

"This is a very solid and seemingly popular sushi spot. Even though I didn't try any of them, the daily special appetizers were pretty unique and sounded delicious. The sushi menu is specialized; it's small compared to most sushi spots, but they use unique garnishes/sauces and flavors your might not see at your typical place. Even the aromas of the restaurant were unlike any other sushi place I've dined at (in a good way)! The Hedgehog was excellent and more than one server said it's their favorite roll; the subtle crunch, sprinkled with salt and garlic.. I'll remember that for a while! The Green Lantern and salmon nigiri were both solid and high-quality, but I expected a touch more excitement based on their descriptions. Wrench and Rodent mixes culinary genius with fresh coastal seafood and skillful preparation. Despite the Friday crowd, service was extremely fast. Thumbs up from me!"

"I always get the red chilaquiles, they are very tasty and so is the orange juice. the orange juice comes in a few different sizes and i 100% recommend it. it’s tastes fresh and natural, and is not too sweet or tart! this is a great place to get brunch with friends!"
