"I asked for well done steak and they bought make a very rare steak. The waiter was preoccupied with other customers so my drink took forever to get!! It was my birthday and waiter forgot my name!! Not worth the hype do disappointed."

"A very nice little spot off of Melrose and La Cienega. Beautiful dining area inside and a complete lack of pretentiousness. Expect just about everything on the menu to be stellar. Get the short ribs if you can. The ceviche/crudo offerings are all stellar and offer their own unique personalities. The rice dishes are well thought out and balanced. It's very relaxed even when it gets busy. I'd recommend taking your time and exploring several menu items at one sitting. Reservations are a good idea since after the 1st hour it does get quite busy. A great Friday cocktail and early dinner spot."

"In the city, only one night, I took a chance and went about five o'clock to lucques as they opened, in the hope, a quick dinner without reservation. the restaurant was closed with two gastrics for a private tasting dinner, but the personal invited me warmly to stay and found me at a quiet table. the price tag for the prixe fix meal was $150 and worth every penny. only over $200 including a drink and the tip, I absolutely enjoyed every mouthful, prepared by chef suzanne goins and the two gastronomic cooks. of wood fired pizza to grilled vegetables, sea fish, the meal was amazing. the melone panna cotta for dessert was the perfect end of a really excellent meal. the restaurant is beautiful, the personal professional and courteous. Simply note that the parking service is only cash, or they must return with a credit card in the inside and outside. next time in the city I would definitely return to lucques."

"I ordered the salmon and a tequila potion. 5 stars for alone to gunsten. great place for drinks and apps with friends. very packed with great energy and ambiente. wonderful play area for groups. good music. friendly staff and only 2 drinks were right. reservations are a must, unless they have no sense for the cash that cannot have places."

"I chose four restaurants in LA for my brother to choose between for a evening birthday dinner. He chose Granville. We went to Granville and arrived about 15 minutes early. The host (Tatiana) said our seat were not available till 6pm. This seemed odd because there was nobody sitting in those seats. So we ended up going to the bar for a drink. Our bartenders were good as well. Tatiana said she would get us at 6pm for our table. Between 15 mins we asked her once if it was ready but she said it was not (it was obviously to see the tables we ready). After 6pm I was wondering why she had not gotten us from the bar. At 6:05pm we approached her again to be seated, she then took us to our table. Our waiter Sebastian was awesome. He did a great job, giving us a rundown of the menu, his favorite items and recommendations. My brother and I ended up sharing the skirt steak, the brussels sprouts, and the uptown mac cheese. The food in the vibe of this restaurant was great. The beginning of our experience did not sit easy with me but the food did. They have multiple locations around this area."
