This Authentic Jamaican Restaurant is what the locals back at home work so very hard and pride themselves on their cuisine. Hater’s of this restaurant will hate. "Happened on this amazingly fantastic oasis of flavor and authentic deliciousness today by complete chance. We were planning to grab lunch after a few errands nearby with the intention of driving to a favorite taco shop but the aromas emanating from Island Spice drew us in and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and helpful. The jerk wings are new fave over all previously consumed wings ever! The jerk sauce is made on site with magical ingredients likely only found in Jamaican hills. Rice and peas and grilled plantains accompanied our entrees of Brown stewed chicken and grilled jerk white meat chicken. You likely never said let's go out for island/Jamaican food, I know we never have, but you need to. At least in the case of Island Spice."

"Got to experience this little gem in the middle of my afternoon. First the music ? Yesss! Snagged a few songs for my playlist. Been needing some new vibes. Service was so nice! I had to change plans for to go instead and very accommodating. Got nachos and boom whatever that cheese. So so good and different and of course the chicken perfect. I agree lettuce on my nachos was not what I was used to but I think it is probably an authentic thing. Got some chicken tenders and so much better than I was expecting! It was so good. One plea Mama Joyce in your kitchen Can you please find a way to make coconut tenders ? lol. Overall a wonderful experience."

"This is the 1st Diner I went to that there waiters are on point, polite, they dont forget you, etc. Food was spot on especially there burger with macaroni bacon all on the burger. Shrimp and calamari was great oxtail yummy..Drinks were good. Plenty of parking. Had a great time there with family and friends. Price is around $17ish but we'll worth it. Definitely going back."
