"After a long drive we decided to venture out of the hotel and due to the reviews we visited the Leon restaurant.. Wait time: At first we thought that as we had to Wait for a table, the restaurant was popular and food quality must be ok.. Having waited we were seated within 15mins Ordering was a little more of an issue as we had to wait for almost 15 mins for anyone to take our order and then a further 30 mins for the drinks to arrive (food was a little longer) Food: The mussels were great and good quality.. The fish and chips was extremely poor.. batter was over cooked as picture with very little fish. We mentioned this to the waiter, but didn't seem to care and nothing was removed from the final bill or any apology.. In future we won't be returning or recommend the resident or chain.. Please visit the resturant next door as it seemed very popular..(Chinese/European food)"

"The place is pleasant enough and the prices are reasonable. Clean toilets. For €13 (at lunchtime on a week day) I had a starter from the buffet (salad, grated carrots, tomatoes, sweetcorn, garlic sausage, tabouleh, hard-boiled egg) followed by fish and chips and then a dessert (coffee with a mini chocolate cake and a mini crème brulée). Starter and dessert were fine but the main course was quite disappointing. The fish itself was very nice, even if the batter, although crispy, was quite oily. The chips were the main disappointment. Fresh chips 'frites fraîches ' are advertised, but those I got were dry and soft and had obviously been cooked from frozen. It 's a pity because the difference with freshly peeled and sliced potato (which I had been expecting) is huge and very obvious for a chip fan. The waitress, although perfectly polite and professional, was not very pleased when I pointed this out. Yet I only did so when asked if everything had been satisfactory, I wasn 't actually complaining. I will go a second time to try something else and to see if they were just having a bad chip day, but I don 't expect much improvement. My friend enjoyed her mussels (provençale) a lot."
