"So this is the spin off of the famous Roberto's taco shop. I had heard they are almost better than my favorite Roberto's. The decor is very modern and clean. I dined at the Clairmont location. To my surprise my bean and cheese burrito was lukewarm, the cheese was unmelted, also they don't grill the flour tortilla like Roberto's does. My beans almost seemed thick and dehydrated like it was from the bottom of the Vat. I can tell their food is quality, but there is some inconsistency. The chips and guacamole were fresh and delicious.This always confirms to me Roberto's taco shop is king, always a real treat."

"I was staying just around the corner from Ruribertos in Mission Beach. Great little place. Truly a hole in the wall type place, but they usually are the places that have the best food. Highly recommend the San Diego breakfast burrito, I had one every morning I was in town, even when I had to wait for them to open. The employees were friendly and courteous."

"I ordered Camarones ala diabla. Mean super spicy shrimp the main course is shrimp and super spicy sauce and the sauce was watered down the ingredients weren’t even blended the garlic tomatoes and chilies were chopped and not blended and the shrimp wasn’t cooked well. I still ate it because I paid for it and did not wanna throw away my money. Not worth the money"
