"A cold winters Sunday saw the wife and I looking for a warm hot chocolate so tried Koko. A refined and carefully curated decor, showcasing visually elegant chocolates and deserts. We took a seat near the window and the waitress cleaned the table and showed us the menus. So much to choose from but I ordered a hazelnut hot chocolate. The drinks came in reasonable time, with the waitress apologising once for the slight delay. The wife commented on the thin cups that helped maintain the drinks warmth. The hot chocolate was true to being 'hot' (a safe heat!) and topped with a lovely pattern. A rich flavour to the drink itself. At about $7, possibly a tad high in terms of value foe money but that's all I'd say. Hope to come back to sample the desserts which we checked out."

"We came here for dinner as we have been here before and really enjoyed our meal and promt service. Unfortunately this time the service was very slow considering there was only a few couples eating when we arrived and when our mains finally arrived the tuna I ordered was tasteless and barely warm and the potatoes cold ! The waiter was good and sent it back but it seemed the kitchen were taking their time just to reheat the same dish and by the time it returned to our table my wife had already finished her meal ! With so many good quality restaurants in Adelaide to choose from , we definitely wont be coming back again !"

"I walked past the signboard for this place most evening when walking along Rundle Street. It's logo is a handlebar moustache and it is tucked away up stairs in what can only be described as an old apartment. You feel like you have walked into someone's living room and that is exactly what the cafe is trying to achieve. Music blares from an old gramophone (though on closer inspection it turned out that it was only the speaker and had an iPod connected to it :) ), comfortable retro sofas and arm chairs are laid out as if you were in a parlour of sorts. The decor is all very retro and charming. We had the lovely Apple Ceylon tea, which was in keeping with the quirky nature of the place. Having said that, it felt like a more appropriate thing would have been brandy and cigars (and I don't even smoke!). It just had that retro feel to it. Loved it!"
