"We had late lunch at this place. Everyone liked their food and the portions were good size so we took home some leftovers. The food was great and the servers were friendly. We will definitely go there again."

"Obnoxious kitchen does not care. Cooks are too busy entertaining themselves singing along loudly to a cheap boombox to bother with what they put on the plate. If the house wants to provide music or mariachi they could play music on quality speakers placed where everyone can hear, and hire a mariachi that knows how to do more than croon for their own amusement. And if diners want live entertainment, we would pick a place that books qualified entertainers Food is inconsistent from one week to the next. "Kinda split on my thoughts on this place. First off the service was very good as we sat at the bar my friend and I. Reservations would be reccommended as it is not a large space. Started with the tomato appetizer which was a small deconstructed dish and i liked it. Entrees were the Kebobs with chicken and Bouilibaise . The flavors in the Kebob were outstanding on the meat and veggie skewers, cous cous, tabouli and all. Only drawback and important one was the chicken was not cooked all the way through. The Bouilibaise which was reccommended and going out the kitchen left and right had good ingredients but was basically flavorless, it needed something or missing something. Deconstructed creme brulee dessert was outstanding. Will give this place another shot as I like to see independent kitchens make it."

"Full disclosure, my experience was during lunch, a bit late in the hour so it was not very crowded. But, we had excellent attentive service and the Italian combo sandwich was probably the best sandwich I have ever had. Bread had a crisp crust and a warm soft interior. The sandwich was stacked high with quality, authentic Italian meats, fresh mozzarella di buffalo and sweet roasted red peppers. It's a great huge sandwich and comes with a pile of fries. Unless you are incredibly hungry, you will walk out of there with a go box. All this for 9.95? Fuget about it!"

"Walked in and the pace was dead, maybe 12 people eating there at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Asked to be seated for 3 people was told someone would seat me shortly, we waited 15 minutes and a group of 4 came in wearing sweat pants and a Hawaiian shirt and they were seated immediately. Asked why we weren't seated and she said I'm so sorry we forgot about you, she said I will have someone seat you now..... 20 minutes later still no seat so we walked out! NEVER will I eat there again!"

"My favorite thing about living at 3rd and Pittsburg is that I am walking distance from El Burrito. This place blows El Rio Verde out of the water. It's in a shopping center and the location is very unassuming. The food is fresh, the family that runs it is amazing, and the micheladas are on point. I recommend the ceviche and molcajetes as well as the guacamole. I am not sure how they do their guac, but it is life-changing stuff. There are much trendier options for Mexican in town, but none of them have the heart and authenticity of El Burrito. Do the right thing..."

"Came across this gem while in Tulsa for work. Upon arrival, we ordered the white cheese queso and guacamole. The guacamole was made fresh to order right in front of our table by a gentleman who was pushing a cart around with all of the ingredients to prepare it. The guacamole lacked salt but the experience and the ingredients were well put together. I ordered the enchiladas suizas which came with beans and rice. I am usually skeptical about trying a Mexican restaurants beans and rice just because the rice is usually overcooked and clumpy and the beans tend to be under seasoned. This place soared my expectations. Word of advice, make sure you specify the size of the margarita you wish to order, it took two people to finish one large drink. Very well worth it and plan to go back whenever I am in the area."
