"Came here on 28/9/22 for a work lunch of 5. The menu was varied enough that someone on a strict diet found something to eat. Food was really good with good size serves and nicely presented for pub meals. Reasonably priced. Everyone was served in a timely manner. Kitchen were good enough to advise of a change in an accompanying salad for a dish. Can recommend."

"We were a party of 5 on a week night around 7. the place was completely empty during our visit I think it lives and dies through his lunch and immediately after working. we had six credits for five people and had the main course together with the escape they were very satisfied with. the TV screens flickering everywhere were a bit distracting, but in general the setup is good and comfortable. eating is basic pub grub steak, huh, tinten fish or evenfish with salat and chips, but nothing wrong with that when it is well cooked. big served and a big beer with the vouchers. the service was cheerful, secret and fast. a remarkable deal for just $20 all in each included type. "An AFL game had the Balcony Restarurant buzzing and packed out (a good sign when a restaurant is popular with the locals) but the wait staff made us welcome and asked if we would be happy with a twenty minute wait for a table - which we were. It was worth the wait. The food was beautiful and the waiting staff were lovely, very friendly. I finished off with a glass of Tokay which I have never seen in a restaurant before - and I thoroughly enjoyed it!"

"We had booked a lunchtime in braggs on 23 June. the day was cold with rain pouring. when entering the bar area it was quite cold in the inner and clear the heating was only for 12 midday and only in the restaurant area. there was a girl in the participation and she had her hands full with drinks, coffee and taking and servier orders. the lunch menu was mostly fish. I ordered sirloin steak from the main menu medium, but it was a pretty thin piece of meat and was quite well made. the tellers were cold, so at the end of my meal. in the table there was no water, in which did the table service was not obvious. we were very disappointed, both with the level of the service, the decoration (the curtains depend on the rail) and the lack of warmth in the bar and restaurant. directors and manager, please note. if the weather outside is cold, wet and annoying, it is not difficult to turn on the heating earlier and warm up their customers. we're going up here!"

"Went there for Sunday brunch today and ordered the buttermilk pancakes with flaked almond, passion fruit, strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup and a lemon whipped butter. My partner ordered the chicken burger with avocado and jalapeño aioli. The prices were reasonably cheap and the food came out quick. The chicken burger was pretty tasty, but the meat inside was a little on the thin side especially considering the thickness of the bun. The chips were decent, so overall a pretty solid meal apart from the thickness of the meat. <br>

The pancakes were fluffy and lightly flavored with vanilla. The combination of the fruits and fluffy lemon butter was nice, but I felt it could have done with a touch more butter and maple syrup as I was eating dry pancakes by the last 1/4 of my meal even after using the condiments conservatively.<br>

The cafe was very busy and the wait staff were all friendly. Couldn't fault the food too much, just the quantities of the good bits.<br>
