"I had dinner there Friday night,the service was good the server was really polite and nice. The ambient was too loud,but beautiful decor. But the most important the food is really bad! I’m a sushi fan,and I had ordered spicy tuna roll (it was tasting like old fish,it wasn’t good ,California roll (and again the avocado was old and brown already with a funny texture too and a tuna tartare (it was tasteless! made me feel sick and I didn’t finished any of the plates. I told the server was everything tasting really bad. But I just paid for and left. But I’ll never do back."

"The service was pretty good, the food was mostly great, the ambience was the biggest detractor for me. Too loud and too busy—but that’s not really under control of the staff. The 1 star is because the crispy artichokes were WAY too salty and the saffron aioli that came with, though good, didn’t pair well with the artichokes at all. The focaccia was incredible a must get. The sauce it comes with is kind of like a red pepper paste vinaigrette and I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it but it was great. The bread was also good dipped into the saffron aioli. The chicken was super moist and well cooked with an excellent crispy skin and tons of garlic. All around a good experience!"

"Update 4/15/23 Went back again and took pictures this time and had another excellent time..What a fantastic place. Feels like I stepped back in time. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are amazing, very creative and delicious. We just had oysters which were great. Will definitely be back for food."

"Our many visits to Buttermilk Channel have never been anything but exceptional. Cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and service are always top notch. Started the dinner off with an Old Gal cocktail, very nice if you like boozy drinks. Also had the Chicken Liver Mousse, it's so frickin' tasty. The Fried Chicken is obviously the main event(deservedly) when it comes to entrees but on a recent visit, I tried the Duck Meatloaf. I'm not usually a meatloaf guy but it was so good it made me wanna cuss. Seriously, it's so rich and tender, quite excellent. Lastly, our waitress was outstanding. Super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. To sum up, go to here."
