"I frequent Big Daddy Burgers food truck because of several reasons. First of all, the food is fresh daily and made to order right in front of you. The menu is unique and they create items that people will enjoy. The care that goes into...the preparation of each menu item is equally matched by how it is all cooked and presented. We're talking about a food truck that gives a hundred percent effort. This isn't a couple of dudes slinging sausages out of a minivan at 2:00am outside of the riverrock/oaces (RIP). This is an all day gourmet food truck, one of its kind in Northen Ontario. Secondly, the prices are well within reason. Think about this, if anyone wants to compare this place to any fast food that serves burgers or similiar there really isnt a comparison, but I'll explain anyway: The size of the portions compared to any fast food place is out of this world. You'd have to order roughly triple the amount of food from anything on the corner of 2nd line/GNR and thats going to put you well into the $20 range for the same volume of meat. We're talking volume for your dollar people. Third and finally, this food truck was started with good intentions to give the people of SSM somewhere special to go and grab food. Its a place where you know your going to go and leave satisfied. The owners are friendly and open minded. And lets face reality here.. its 2015, all these fast food places are so played out. So when your kid cries for a happy meal, great get the kid a happy meal. But don't you dare think your going to be just as happy as your 5 year old after you order a big boy meal from the dollar menu. You're only fooling yourself. If you want to be a big boy then go to Big Daddy Burgers. Set a good example for your children and eat like a man. What are you waiting for, I said Go. Right now."

"We decided to try out Burger Don after seeing reviews online and were not disappointed. We arrived around 7 on a Friday night and the place was packed, we had to wait about 45 minutes outside for a table, but both agreed it was worth the wait. The restaurant is not very big inside, so try not to go at peak times if you don't want to wait! I had a build-your-own chicken burger that was great and my boyfriend tried the doughnut burger which he said was excellent. The fries were also very good, and you can even order "frings" or a mix of onion rings/fries if you cannot decide which to get. We also got an appetizer of the fried cheese curds, which were excellent. Our waitress did forget to bring the cheese curds, but apologized profusely when she realized and we ended up getting them free. Despite that, the service was still excellent and we would definitely go back! For what we got, we thought it was also a great value (and the CAD-USD exchange rate worked in our favor)."
