"Sulla via del ritorno verso l'hotel, piuttosto di fretta avendo l'aereo di lì a poco, ci imbattiamo in questo locale all'interno del passaggio Villacrosse, uno dei due bracci, assieme al passaggio Macca, dell'omonima galleria, caratteristico scorcio stile Bell'Epoque nel centro di Bucarest dove è possibile gustare buon cibo e fumare narghilè. Venivamo accolti dal cameriere che gentilmente ci invita a sedere ad un tavolo. Locale curato con qualche tocco di simpatia (l'ingresso del bagno è una cabina telefonica londinese), svariati narghilè al bancone d'ingresso, pochi coperti (circa una ventina). Dopo pochissimo viene a prendere l'ordinazione e ci porta da bere, birre e acqua. Ordiniamo, in 4, una zuppa a testa e 3 piatti di carne. Inizia un'attesa di circa 40 minuti in cui abbiamo la sensazione che il nostro anfitrione in realtà non fosse solo il cameriere ma anche cuoco, oste, barista e, vista la presenza di una numerosa comitiva di spagnoli che aveva iniziato a servire, un po' preoccupati gli riferiamo la nostra urgenza. A questo punto il nostro uomo, dopo averci gentilmente detto che avrebbe fatto del suo meglio, tira fuori il telefono e chiama in soccorso una signora che prende in mano la situazione e va in cucina. Tempo 3 minuti e arriva tutto: zuppa di fagioli della Transilvania con maiale (deliziosa, capace di scacciare il freddo pungente che permea Bucarest in gennaio) servita nel pane, gulasch ungherese leggermente piccante, servito nella zuppiera oscillante in ghisa (eccellente), cotoletta di maiale con salsa all'aglio e patate al forno (davvero prelibata), intingolo di maiale, peperoni, funghi e patate (anche questo, come gli altri delizioso). Peccato aver dovuto gustare tutto di fretta (ma dipendeva da noi, non dal locale). Il prezzo 188 lei, appena 10 euro a testa. Davvero una chicca deliziosa nel cuore di Bucarest."

"Form this is the perfect place to come when I am hungry and I just want to eat something (nothing imagination, only good food in a cozy place). I was there several times with friends, children, etc. Pizza is very good and the prices too. If... You would like to spend hours at the table (too late) this is not the place (the last order is at 22.00 or 23.00 or something). The staff is very friendly."

"I was there in October, celebrating a birthday. We booked a 12 persons table but we were only 7. There was no problem with that, the waiters rearranged the table according to our number. The food and the drinks were really good. The prices also. To say something i didn't like, some glasses have small flaws. I must say that the place and the bathrooms were clean. The service was nice during the entire evening."

"It was a very beautiful experience. It was very pleasant, the staff was friendly, open and simply nice. The place is very nicely decorated and clean. The food was delicious. We had a pizza e Funghi and various spaghetti plates. It is nearby... the center, or a main boulevard in Bucharest."
