"Came to lunch here on Sunday and had the al pastor buritto bowl, which was quite delicious. I realize I'm not such a huge bean fan, but I would order it without drilling. delicious with the pineapple!"

"When for lunch they were out of guacamole, then the waitress list off a number of other things they were out of. The chips and salsa appies were plain no flavor at all. Then the mains showed up even worst. Could only eat about 1/4 of the food, waitress was like "hope everything was good"? Really?Never ever going back, advise save yourself the 50 bucks eat anywhere else."

"We were originally going to eat at a competitor but were informed of a 45min wait, quickly looked for alternatives and was surprised to see Conmi had last minute reservations available. Not sure what happened but this place used to take effort to get a reservation. Went in at 7pm on a Friday and there was only one other table there. Went further downhill from there, from their extensive margarita flavoring list there was half that was unavailable. Chips and guac were good as usual but also came with crackers that might as well have been crustacean shell, hard and flavorless. Tacos were quite one dimensional in flavor, not terrible but also no where near the same quality we experienced in the past. Their strawberry matcha donut was the highlight of the meal. Service was great and attentive but then again the entire restaurant had two tables. Not sure what happened to this place but what used to be one of my top three taqueria's is no longer even going to be in consideration, but I guess based on how dead it was on a Friday night the rest of the city already got the same impression."

"Very enjoyable lunch. I'm eating a low carb diet and the cook modified my meal to my liking. Took the Bodega Taco and left out the shell and the rice. He asked if I'd like it in a bowl. It was delicious served on top of coleslaw. Really enjoyed it and I'd go back for sure."

"I didn't plant to Calgary long ago. They say that California doesn't transplant well and I totally understand. Short, cold, icy winter days made me feel good Mexican food I grew up in Southern California. But even restaurants that were very recommended...here in Calgary fell short. Tres Marias is a modest, child-friendly institution. Family race. I like that. I'd rather support a family than a body. Besides, when people move away from home and open a restaurant, they do their best to bring authentic cooking to their new home. I have Tacos al Pastor, black beans and rice. The tacos were very generously filled with pork and pineapple. There was Guacamole Salsa on the page plus a wedge lemon. Very delish. Beans, perfectly seasoned and the rice had also cooked pieces of vegetables in it. The market has some Latin favorites, salsas, etc. There is a refrigerator with tamales, soups and other choices. The restaurant is immaculate. Service was polite and prompt. Free parking. Go NOW if you die for a good south of the border."
