"My friend told me about this place Impact Taco, that it was inexpensive and tasty.Well when I was in Montreal I visited this Taco and Burrito restaurant. Food was fantastic 4 tacos for $5.00 or Burritos for $6.00 . this no frills restaurant just simply makes it authentic.Dont expect nachos or tortilla`s and a salsa. this is Mexican owned by Mexicans. the Al pastor was great , steak burrito even better. Im getting hungry just writing this. When in Montreal check it out."

"Fantastic place, great food, quirky decorations and well priced. I brought my brother here when he was in town and fully intend on bringing any friends who come through. Cheap tacos with the idea that you buy a couple and sample all they've got to...offer."

"Good, authentic tacos and other Tex-Mex-ish dishes. Service friendly but not fluent in either English or French. +1 for authenticity?"

"Whenever in Montreal, even for just a few hours, I make a stop at this mini market/take out counter/restaurant/cantina. Meeting place for the latino community of Montreal, their selection of empanadas, arrepas, tamales, bola de yuka etc is delicious and varied. All home made behind the counter. Their soups (tripas/pollo etc) are also delicious. Friendly staff (mostly from Colombia) are always happy to explain to the newcomer and guarantees the authentic bolivarian experience ! all you need to cook/bake at home is available in the market area. All that with good music !! A must."

"I 'm originally from Guatemala and currently living in Montreal. I stumbled on this little restaurant called Los Planes . From the billboard outside you can 't really tell that it could be a good place to eat in, but hey the best food places sometimes come from...small places like this one. Coming inside the restaurant you will be greeted by a smiling person looking to place and serve you. They speak spanish, english and french. Here you could fit at least from 30 to 40 guests, I think this place would be a nice one to have your own private party, like a babyshower, birthday, family reunion, etc. The most delicious food in the menu is of course the Pupusas, they come in varieties of flavors like plain cheese filling, or mixed with chicharron (pork meat and fat) or a traditional Salvdorian ingredient called Loroco which is a kind of herb. On top of this tortilla like dish, you get to garnish it with cole slaw (salvadorian stile) and tomatoe sauce and the best thing if you can handle it.... chile sauce! yummm!..... Some other food you can order is fried tacos, enchiladas, soups and grilled meat. For desert you can order tamalitos de elote (corn tamale) or churros. The food is affordable and it really satisfies your cravings! If you happen to be in the Montreal area of St. Hubert shopping street. Don 't forget to pay a visit to this small salvadorian restaurant, I 'm sure you will be pleased! Mariela Dubon."
