"Ok, if you are downtown PV and near this eatery you have to go in. We were hungry and decided to try it. It is as authentic Mexican as you can get and the tacos are AMAZING. The establishment is small but very clean and is painted up in fun colors with a huge crazy mural on the wall. The owners / operators are very friendly and the Bano's is clean and actually has a toilet seat (a rarity in PV it seemed). The food was so good we went back two more times while in PV for ten days. I have a sensitive stomach and had NO problems. Two thumbs up for Los Ponchos!!"

"We had the special grilled chicken breast and Jumbo Shrimp burrito. Both choices very tasty and large portions. We loved the food! The pitched of lemonade was plenty for 3 people and $105 is a bargain. If you are American and used to AC cooling down your restaurant so you wish you had a sweater, no such thing here. You will sweat! If great food at very reasonable prices is not good enough, you might want to dine somewhere else but assuming you are looking for a good deal and excellent food, give it a go :"

"Wonderful spot, great food. Saw the other review about the marguerita ...this gringa thinks Las Brazzas serves the best margueritas she has ever tasted ($25 pesos ea!). Two drinks, bottled water, shrimp enchiladas, chicken Caesar salad and a beef taco $305 pesos, wonderful service. Delicious. We loved it."

"Great food and service, just not an amazing location or view of anything special. Its out past the popular Malecon area but not a bad walk by any means. Its across from a gas station on a busy street so thats the only reason it lost a star from me."

"This restaurant is a local treasure- I almost do not want to review because I love how quaint it is and don't want it to get so busy I cannot get in:) The owners are a husband and wife who make every item fresh in front of you- the salads with fresh grilled meats are addictive but their hamburgers and fries and tacos are huge and delicious as well. It is on jacarandas a little street not on the main drag but walking distance to the beach. I cannot say enough about how much we love sitting at this rooftop restaurant enjoying the sights and sounds of wonderful Puerto Vallarta. It is so reasonably priced as well we went back as often as we could. Oh and gluten free options are abundant!!!!!"

"Best tacos al pastor i've had in a while. Super friendly staff, but this being a hole in the wall, and it being July, it was about a million degrees inside. So we ordered ours to go. They were super fast and cheap and holy goodness, were they delicious! Excellent, spectacular, amazing. YES! :"
